Discover the wild Timiskaming district at our rustic cabin on Howard Lake, Misema River canoe route. Wrap around deck, rock and cliff out croppings, 25 miles of connecting lakes, rivers and canoe route. Includes motor boat and canoes. Western exposure, beautiful sunsets, waterfall, swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking. Muskoka chairs on dock. Great for outdoor types. WATER ACCESSIBLE ONLY.
Quaint and cozy rustic wood interior, pine furniture, Native Art, and northern antique decorations. The cottage is 24x20 ft open concept cathedral ceiling with two sleeping lofts, French doors and antique maple hardwood floors, pine paneling and native art.
The cottage is a Four Season pine square log pre-fab with a wrap around 6 feet wide deck, The floating dock on the sandy beach is 15x5 feet and Fire Pit.

Facilities: 12ft aluminum fishing boat with 9.9 hp out board engine, square back canoe, cedar canvass canoe, 2 kayaks, outdoor fire pit, dock, woodstove, cedar kitchen, propane fridge, stove, lights, hot water, bath tub and shower, compost toilet system inside and an outhouse.
Water is pumped from the Lake by a honda gas engine to a gravity reservoir up the hill. Flush RV toilet empties in Swedish composter. Cottage has a outdoor Paloma hot water heater and three large propane tanks on deck that supply propane fridge, stove and lights. There is no electricity and limited cell phone coverage. Cottage is water access by 5 minute boat ride across the lake at 45 degree angle from the public dock and parking lot.
Activities: Beach and dock on Howard lake, boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, campfire pit, star gazing, exploring, cliff jumping at your own risk, bird watching, and blue berry picking in August.
